What this website does and does not collect.
The short version
This is a small informational website about my practice. It has no contact form, no login, no shop and no newsletter. It does not ask you for your name, your email address or any detail about your health, and there is nowhere on it for you to enter them.
Server logs
Like almost every website, the server that hosts this one keeps automatic access logs. These record the IP address of the device making a request, the page requested, the time, and the browser used. They exist so the host can keep the site running and investigate abuse. They are not used to build a profile of you, and I do not read them.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Caching software used by the host may set a technical cookie to serve pages faster. If you leave a comment or log in as an administrator, WordPress sets cookies for that purpose — neither applies to ordinary visitors.
Analytics
No third-party analytics or advertising scripts are installed. Fonts are served from this site’s own server rather than from a third party, so viewing a page does not tell anyone else that you did.
Anything you send me
If you contact me by telephone, email or messaging using the details on the contact page, that correspondence is handled under the confidentiality obligations that apply to me as a doctor, and under the policies of the clinic where I practise. Please do not send detailed medical information, images or reports through unsecured channels before we have agreed how to handle them.
Medical records
Your clinical records are held by the clinic where you are seen, not by this website. Requests to access or correct them should go to the clinic directly.
Changes
If this site later gains a contact form, an appointment booking tool or analytics, this page will be updated to say so before that goes live.
